The Practice

In 2020, Dr. Williams took over a practice with deep Gainesville roots—one established by Dr. Stephen New, a member of UF College of Dentistry's inaugural graduating class who served this community for 44 years.

Background

Dr. Williams grew up in Byron, Georgia, and headed to the University of Georgia for undergrad. His academic path took an interesting turn through entomology—he earned a Master of Science from UF in 1985 before pivoting to dentistry. He graduated from UF College of Dentistry in 1989 and spent three decades practicing in Clearwater before returning to Gainesville.

Personal Life

Dr. Williams and his wife Dawn have a son, a daughter-in-law, and two dogs. They're active members of Redemption Orthodox Presbyterian Church here in Gainesville.
